No matter what skills you have coming in to camp, we will challenge you to learn a variety of new skills, and to take your existing skills as far as you can. Whether this is your first experience with circus, or you’re looking for advanced level training, you will find it in our programs. Our day consists of classes focused on a specific circus arts, such as acrobatics, stilt walking, wire walking, juggling, aerial fabrics/silks, hammocks, trapeze or lyra. A sample schedule is below, however please note the classes are subject to change:

Warming up, conditioning and stretching |
We start with a cardio warmup, then move on to working the core, the arms, the core, the legs and the core. Doing this daily builds strong kids! After conditioning we do stretching. Starting at the head and working to the toes, campers learn about dynamic, static and assisted stretching. Bridges, splits, over splits and more! |

We give the hands a break and try some balancing acts like stilt walking and rolla. |

Juggling/Prop Manipulation |
Learning to juggle helps to improve all other circus skills. Other props can include poi, rings and hula hoops. |

Circus arts campers should wear a leotard or biketard and bring a water bottle, and change of clothes with them everyday. While most of our camp is done barefoot, some circus arts require campers wear close-toed sneakers. A select few arts require special footwear, especially at the more advanced levels.
