Corona Virus Statement

As of May 18, 2020 we will be open using the following procedures:

  • Clean Studio
    • All surfaces, doorknobs, and faucets are cleaned and disinfected before classes.
    • Mats are normally vacuumed regularly but will be steamed cleaned and disinfected also.
    • All aerial fabrics/hammocks will be disinfected between uses. They will be taken out of service until disinfection is performed.
    • Other equipment will be disinfected after every use.
    • Grip aids will no longer be available for sharing.
    • Disinfectant used:
      • We are choosing to use HOCL as our spray disinfectant, this is shown to kill the virus, approved by the EPA and safe for people and the equipment.
      • The wet wipes are only supposed to be used on hard surfaces and not suitable for hands or body parts.
      • There's also a steam cleaner which will be a supplemental disinfection device.
  • Clean Students
    • All students are required to disinfect hands and feet before classes.
    • Students and instructors involved in partnering work and spotting are required to disinfect hands regularly during practice.
  • Stay home when you feel sick
    • Students who are exhibiting any signs of illness are not permitted to enter the studio. Temperature will be taken for camp attendees.
  • Social Distancing
    • We are limiting class size to the number of apparatus so that there will be no sharing. This generally means that there will be no more than 4 people per class. Please let us know in advance what classes you or your child will be attending.  Equipment will be assigned, no swapping will be allowed for the class period unless it is one that is easily disinfected(bare metal apparatus).
    • Sorry, no extra people waiting in our space.
    • Class times will change so that people can leave and arrive with no overlap. Please leave promptly. We will miss hanging out the most.
    • Masks - as these are athletic activities and masks can increase the possibly of hypoxia, masks are not recommended while on the equipment.
  • Asymptomatic Carriers
    • While we make every effort to keep the space and equipment hygienic, we must acknowledge that there is the possibility that anybody entering could be an asymptomatic carrier and thus there's always a risk of infection. A waiver covering this will need to be signed before attending classes.

Each family is encouraged to make their own decision about coming to the studio, please do what you feel comfortable with and what makes the most sense for you and your family.

The well being of our students and families is a top priority! Please know that we are here to address any concerns or issues, and are happy to hear from you on additional ways we can keep our community healthy!
